Four models
Choose your Perch
Pick the opening you want, then decide whether you'd like legs to the floor. Every Perch is moulded in one piece and reserves with a $20 deposit.
Perch Platform and Platform+
Feet on the treads. Nothing else touches.
You stand on two ribbed treads moulded into the platform, laid out like a floor squat pan. The opening runs well past the bowl at both ends and slopes down at 45°, so anything that lands in front or behind slides into the water.
Perch+ and Platform+
Legs when you want them.
Two legs swing down from under the platform and stand on the floor either side of the bowl, so your weight goes to the floor as well as the rim. Set the length in 15 mm steps, then turn each foot to fine-tune it.
They fit toilets with a rim 15–17 in (380–430 mm) off the floor, and fold flat under the platform when you don't need them.
Installing
Fitted in about fifteen minutes
The same tools you'd use to change a toilet seat.
Take off your seat
Undo the two seat bolts at the back of the bowl and lift the seat away. Keep it for when you move.
Bolt Perch on
Its hinges use the same two holes. A soft gasket under the platform rests on the rim.
Set the legs
On the + models, swing the legs down, set the length, and turn each foot until it meets the floor.
Step up and squat
Stand with a foot on each tread, then squat over the opening. Hold something solid the first few times.

Safety
Standing on it, safely
Before the first unit ships, an independent lab will load test every model. We'll publish the weight rating here and print it on the box.
- You need to be able to squat and stand up on your own. Perch is not a mobility aid.
- The platform stands 40–68 mm above the rim. Step up slowly at first, with a hand on something solid.
- On the + models, set both legs so the feet sit on a dry, level floor.
- Check the seat bolts are tight once a month.

Before you reserve
Will it fit my toilet?
Perch fits elongated bowls with seat bolts 5.5 in (140 mm) apart, the standard spacing in the US and Canada. The legs on the + models need a rim 15–17 in (380–430 mm) off the floor. The fit check takes two minutes.
How does the deposit work?
The $20 deposit holds one Perch in the first production run and counts toward the price. Before your Perch ships, we'll email you a ship date and a link to pay the balance. Until you pay it, you can cancel and get the full $20 back.
When will my Perch arrive?
We expect to deliver the first production run in early 2027. Reservations are filled in the order they come in, and we'll email you a firm ship date before we ask for the balance.
Is checkout secure?
Payment happens on Stripe's hosted checkout page, which opens in a new tab. Your card details go straight to Stripe; they never pass through this site.
Do I need a plumber?
No. Perch uses the two seat bolt holes and nothing else. It doesn't touch the water supply or the drain.
Can someone sit on it?
Perch is designed for squatting. If others in your home prefer to sit, keep your old seat. It uses the same two holes, so you can switch back in a few minutes.
Perch or Perch Platform?
Perch Platform's opening is 142 mm (5.6 in) longer, with ribbed treads like a floor squat pan. It's larger and stands 68 mm above the rim. Perch is smaller, sits lower at 40 mm, and costs less.
How much weight does it hold?
Every model will be load tested by an independent lab before the first unit ships. We'll publish the rating here and print it on the box.
Shipping and returns
Shipping within the US is included in the price. Shipping to Canada is shown when you pay the balance.
You can return an unused Perch in its original box within 30 days. If a part is faulty, we'll replace it free.
